sad day in softball community
I AM DEEPLY SADDEN TO HEAR THIS MORNING THAT KEVIN FOX FATHER OF TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN PASSED AWAY LATE LAST NIGHT. KEVIN FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS ARE AS FOLLOW MALONEYS FUNERAL HOME IN HOLBROOK. VIEWING ARE ON TUESDAY 6/24 FROM 2-4PM AND 7-9PM. FUNERAL IS WED.
WHEN I RECEIVED THE PHONE CALL THIS MORNING HEARING THAT FOX PASSED AWAY I WAS CRUSHED. FOX WILL BE MISSED “BIG TIME”. TO HELP HIS 2 BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN I WILL NOW DONATE ALL THE MONEY THAT WILL BE MADE AT THE JULY 26 TOURNAMENT IN THE HAMPTONS.

In loving memory to John Balbi:
Island Softball Leagues’ heart has stopped, I am deeply sadden to say my friend John Balbi passed away, sunday February 24 in the morning. John Balbi was a man of great respect, integrity and above all of that, a man who loved his family. John would do anything for his family. John Jr., family and everyone here lost a great guy who would do anything for anyone. I’m going to miss that ”hey big guy” or “hey tiger”, a saying that John would say. I am going to miss you John. I am going to miss the 12:00 am pizza run after indoor. I am going to miss the Sunday run we would do every Sunday. I am just going to miss you John, your friend and buddy Mike………………………..
